Ive found a picture of my rig.. its currently away in storage probably until I can stick it all over at Tony's or I move house.
The amp is a Starfield SVA-1 The cab is a Marshall 1936 which was destroyed by a vengeful woman, the speakers and grill cloth were replaced. The guitar is a Jackson KV-4 which is currently undergoing a makeover. Attachments:

Vengeful is the wrong word. Psychotic works better.

Screw it, lets throw more into the pot The JVM, Invader, Zilla and Pod HD500. This is the basis of my live rig (Invader for Lacrota, JVM for Starborn). Sorry for the dodgy picture, but, you get the idea.

How do you use the Pod in the live rig? in the loop?

How do you use the Pod in the live rig? in the loop? I believe so. I remember him ditching his g major setup because the line6 effects were significantly better. I could be wrong though.

Yeah that's it, it's effects only (4 Cable Method), I don't touch the amp models (short of an amp breaking down live which hasn't happened yet thankfully). It has MIDI out, both amps have MIDI in, so I change channels and effects with one press. It's great.
You're also correct Tony, the effects in the HD500 sound much better to my ears. The problem I found with the G Major is it had effects that seemed to be generic. Some phaser, some delay, some reverb etc, whereas because the HD500 is modelling effects, they have something interesting about them. An example a Boss DM2 sounds different to an EHX Memory Man, but they are both classed as analogue delays. The G Major felt like it just did a generic "Analogue delays have less fidelity on their repeats", the HD500 tries to do what the Boss or EHX did individually.
I won't use the old "organic" keyword or anything like that, I just find they are much more interesting to listen to, use, and play through.
