Right it looks like my space restrictions will be gone soon so i'm going to dive back into amp building.
Obviously as I already have all of the amps that I will ever need this will probably be going straight on ebay/gumtree the like so please take that into consideration and nothing too out there.
At first I was thinking something Marshall or Fenderish just to get the itch to build out of my system and move it along easily but I really can't pinpoint it down too much.
I know the world is currently lusting after diode clipping so I could build some kind of diode clipping dystopia thing.

JCM 800. Plenty of diode clipping and easy to sell.

Don't say diode clipping to a valve purist

Especially since many valve purists amps have diode clipping in their valve amps.

A jcm is currently the winner.
On the topic of valve purists I love ones with a string of digital effects out front

JCM800 is definitely a good shout! I'd be interested to try a modded to shit one.

Especially people who have a lovely valve amp and run a cheap distortion pedal into the front of it!! DAVE GILMOUR!! pfft what an amateur
On the amp side... a jcm800 would be a good call... good to have a mess around with mods too

It looks like a hotrodded 800 is the one.

I expressly forbid it

JCM 800. Plenty of diode clipping and easy to sell. Aren't the earliest ones all-valve? I think they got shenanigans before too long, though... EDIT: If you want diode clipping, how about a clone of that new bugera? Seems to be a clone of an HT5 with (presumably) a fire extinguisher included in the price.

I was referring to the current fascination with Friedman,Fortin, Cameron etc

The JCM800 gives you a classic tone to work with but I'd like to see one with added features and different power options.
1) I'd like it with at least two channels and possibly three.
2) I'd like it to have a powerful boost function for solos.
3) I'd like it in combo form.
4) I'd like it no bigger than 50w with the ability to dial it back to different power levels like 25w, 10w and 5w
