Myself,
Byzantine self titled. They're starting to really hit the stride of 'thrashy groovy opeth' they started with oblivion, and OJ is a BADASS vocalist.
Whitechapel - Our Endless War. Took a bit to get into after their self titled, but its a mighty album.
Waiting for
Origin - Omnipresent. I very much doubt they'll better anthithesis (at all, ever) but I'll get it anyway.

I'm currently listening to Annihilator - Feast.
Waiting for the upcoming Metallica apparently they enter the studio in August so maybe there will be an album in 2017

The new Monuments album is working well for me at the moment. I'll get bored of it eventually but right now it's spot on. I'm also really looking forward to the new Within The Ruins and Betraying The Martyrs albums. The latest Behemoth is currently my album of the year but that could change...
I've been giving the new Archspire album a go and it's growing on me. I don't think I'm as obsessed with tech death as I used to be, but the more I listen to this, the more I feel that could change.

It sounds to me like they took their modern sound and brought back some of the black metal to it. It seems to sound a bit more dissonant, a bit more brooding, and I love it.

I do appreciate their 'blackened'ness, but on balance while integral to their sound, its my least favourite element of it. Probably why I've found it harder to get into this album.
I wasn't terribly taken with evangelicon at first, as on the whole its quite a lot blacker than demigod, but this
gave me a foot in the door to the album, and subsequent listens revealed an utter shitload of awesomeness going on in there.
So, I should probably listen to it some more.

Absolutely loved the new Whitechapel, and the new Suicide Silence is awesome too. Still need to check out the new Behemoth though. Eagerly awaiting a new Fear Factory album. The Industrialist was great for the first 4 or 5 songs, then just got meh.

I just found out that there is going to be a new King Diamond album out at the beginning of next year. Should be immense especially if they retain the recent live lineup.

New Within The Ruins and Fallujah are absolutely stunning. Betraying The Martyrs....not sure, it seems a bit of a hodge podge of ideas and random stuff going on. Not really digging it yet.
