As I work nights, LONG LONG nights... I fill a lot of my time with DVDs and Netflix. One of the best sources of DVDs for me is Zoverstocks on play.com... many many DVDs for around £1-£2... a lot of foreign films... Asian Horror etc. I watched Dark Water tonight and the US remake on netflix. There have been some great finds such as the grousome Audition, weird Korean slapstick big monstor film Chaw and the modern classic Oldboy. Does anyone have any recomendations of films in this vein to give a go? Ive watched most of the really obvious ones like... Rungu, Ju-on etc. Other notable mentions go to: Into the MirrorInvitation OnlyThe Chaser

I thought this might have been more sexual in nature.

I've got Audition here, need to get round to watching it but I'm not a huge horror fan.
I did go through a phase of watching loads of Chinese epic films like Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Hero, house of Flying Daggers, all that good stuff. Some of them are breathtakingly good but you really need to watch the fight sequences a few times to really catch all the action.

I saw audition. Horrible film. There's just no need.
The last film I saw that I enjoyed was Rise of the Black Bat. But it's good because its so unbelievably terrible.
The last actually good film I saw was probably Europa Report. Sci fi horror thing with a slightly pretentious, but nonetheless correct point to make about the risks required/that you have to understand and accept that go with science and exploration.

Oh yes, can't forget Ong Bak. And The Raid, which was totally ripped off by Dredd.

I've got Audition here, need to get round to watching it but I'm not a huge horror fan. Its quite a hard watch really.... i quite liked the premise of the film.. but the graphicness of the whole thing was quite hard going.
